Privacy Policy

[SELLER NAME], [COUNTRY] ("we") makes bevibe. This page explains what data bevibe handles, why, and what stays on your Mac.
What stays on your Mac
Your projects, conversations with agents, attachments, terminal output and checkpoints are stored on your Mac (in ~/.bevibe and in your own git repositories). We don't receive them. Your code leaves your Mac only when you or an agent sends it somewhere: to the agent's provider when it works, or to GitHub and similar services when you push or open a pull request. Those providers handle it under their own privacy policies.
Your account
When you create an account we store your email address, the Google or GitHub account you signed in with (its id and email), your sign-in sessions (stored as hashes), when your trial started and ends, and your subscription status. We use this to sign you in and to tell the app whether your trial or subscription is active.
Payments
Paddle.com processes payments as our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment and billing details; we never see your card number. Paddle tells us your customer id and subscription status. See Paddle's privacy policy for how they handle your data.
What the app sends
- Account checks. While you're signed in, the app checks your subscription with our service when it starts and every few hours, sending your session token.
- Update checks. The app asks our release server whether a new version exists. This request carries your IP address and the app's user agent, like any web request.
- Agent updates. The app checks the npm registry for new versions of the agent CLIs you have installed. You can turn this off in Settings.
- Link icons. For links shown in a conversation, the app loads the site's icon from Google's favicon service, which sends Google the link's domain name.
- Usage and limits. When you open the usage view, the app asks each agent's provider for your limits using your own credentials, and fetches a public model price list from GitHub.
The app has no analytics or tracking turned on, and we don't sell or share your data for advertising.
The website
bevibe.pro uses one cookie to keep you signed in. The pricing page loads Paddle's checkout, which may set its own cookies. Sign-in emails are sent through Resend. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests, including IP addresses, to serve and protect it.
How long we keep data
We keep your account data while your account exists. Expired sign-in links and sessions are deleted or become unusable. Paddle keeps billing records as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL]. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including complaining to your data protection authority.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and, for important changes, tell you by email.
